FabianThe Philips Hue track system is becoming even more flexible this month. More precisely, with the new flexible corner connector, which can now be ordered in the Philips Hue online shop for 34.99 euros in the colours black or white. As always, it’s not cheap, but this small accessory opens up many new possibilities. The new T-piece, which was also announced in January, is not yet available, but this should change soon. Unfortunately, both accessories will only be available in Europe for the time being.
Hue Perifo tracks from the wall to the ceiling
The flexible corner connector piece allows you, for example, to run the tracks from the wall to the ceiling or vice versa.
Hue Perifo tracks not only at a 90 degree angle
If you wanted to go round a corner, you didn’t have many options until now. The Perifo system previously only recognised 90 degree corners. With the flexible corner connector, you can freely determine the angle of a branch.
This is how much space the new connector requires
The new connecting piece takes up 8.8 centimetres at the end and beginning of a track, so no other light sources can be combined in this area. The flexible cable in the centre is 3.5 centimetres long.
