I really wouldn’t have expected this a little over a week ago. After it looked really bad for weeks around the availability of the Philips Hue wall switch module, the tide has suddenly turned.
Since the weekend, the popular new release, which could only be ordered on a few days since March, is consistently available for order in the German online store of Philips Hue. Completely without problems, completely without stress. I have no idea how Signify suddenly managed this and why there were such problems in the two months before.
Other retailers are now officially offering the wall switch module as well
But that’s by far not all. The exclusive distribution in the company’s own online store also seems to have ended. Several retailers in Scandinavia, the Czech Republic and the Netherlands now also offer the wall switch module in their online stores and want to deliver within the next two to four weeks.
However, Signify still seems to keep a close eye on who is selling the accessory and where. Proshop, for example, offers the wall switch module on its Scandinavian stores, but it is not listed in the German store.
In the end, however, it can be said that the availability is actually going uphill and a clear improvement can be felt. What was still a rare item until last week can now be ordered without any problems.
