FabianYesterday I already presented the new dimmer switch and a new outdoor lamp. With the latter, there are still some details to be clarified, so I have taken the article offline for the time being. But today I have the next new Philips Hue product for you: a new version of the Appear Outdoor wall lamp.
Last year, the wall lamp with the black aluminium housing was one of the new outdoor releases in spring. Next year, the Appear will also be available with a silver housing made of stainless steel. This option was previously only available with the Hue Resonate and Hue Daylo.
The technical data of the wall lamp itself should remain identical. For us, this means that there are two LED modules that can only be controlled together, i.e. they always light up in the same colour. The maximum brightness is a total of 1,200 lumens, which is considerably more than an outdoor light equipped with two GU10 spots, for example.
The price of the Hue Appear is 139.99 euros so far. I assume that Philips Hue will offer the new stainless steel version at the same recommended retail price as the already available black model.
