In the past few weeks, numerous products have already been leaked and it is already clear that a real spectacle will be set off. Because I can also assure you at this point: What I have listed in this article is not all. Due to some inattentive retailers and also due to the inattention of Philips Hue, the following new product releases are already known before the official presentation.
Hue White Ambiance Filament with E27 base
I personally have been waiting for this for a long time: Filament light bulbs from Philips Hue that offer customisable white tones. According to my information, there will be five different shapes, so also the Giant variants. What is interesting in comparison to the competition is that the two LED wires for warm white and cool white light, which are arranged in a spiral inside, have a much more filigree design.
Hue White Filament with E14 base
After Ikea came forward a few weeks ago, Philips Hue will also offer an E14 candle lamp with filament technology from September. This is certainly particularly interesting for vintage lights or chandeliers that only have a small E14 socket and do not hide the bulbs behind a shade.
Hue White Filament with E27 base
Okay, this is not a real new release, but there is a technical change. The new version of the well-known Filament lamps will have a technically slightly different LED wire. This is a little shorter than before, but the LEDs shine through to the inside, which gives the entire bulb a great look. The new generation will be recognisable by the new, uniform packaging design without plastic hangers.
Hue bulbs with up to 1,100 lumens
Philips Hue is getting brighter. In the identical form factor as before, lamps with up to 1,100 lumens will soon be available in addition to the familiar lamps with 800 lumens. This new option includes the entire portfolio consisting of White, White Ambiance and White and Color Ambiance. I am very curious to see how the difference will turn out in practice.
Hue bulbs with up to 1,600 lumens
There is already a particularly bright Hue lamp with 1,600 lumens, only as a White variant. Due to the high heat development, this lamp is almost two centimetres longer, which will also be the case with the new models with White Ambiance and White and Color Ambiance. According to my information, these models will not be on the market until October.
The new gradient family
The new Gradient products will be particularly exciting and unfortunately also particularly expensive. One year after the introduction of the Hue Play Gradient Lightstrip, Philips Hue will delight us this year with the Play Gradient Light Tube, the Gradient Lightstrip Ambiance and the Gradient Signe, the latter coming in two versions of table or floor lamp.
New ceiling luminaires are not yet known
In addition to the products already revealed, Philips Hue is said to have more arrows in its quiver, according to my information. Specifically, it is about several new ceiling lights in different designs as well as some new recessed spots. It is already clear that no new outdoor products will be introduced this autumn.
