Tint Talpa: Müller-Licht launches larger LED strip

Reminiscent of the Hue Play Lightbar

The Philips Hue Play Lightbar has become a real bestseller since its launch about a year and a half ago. Müller-Licht seems to be about to launch a very similar product with its ZigBee brand Tint. The Talpa LED luminaire can already be pre-ordered at Amazon for 79.95 euros.

With a length of 55 cm, Tint's Talpa bar is significantly longer than the Hue Play Lightbar, which offers 25 cm. And the replica is also ahead in terms of brightness: the Talpa achieves 750 lumens, while the Lightbar from Philips Hue only has 530 lumens.

Tint Talpa can be mounted flexibly thanks to retaining clips

In addition, the Müller-Licht batten luminaire is just as flexible in terms of positioning. With the supplied stand, the light can only be set up vertically, but the manufacturer also supplies retaining clips, thanks to which the light can also be fixed under furniture.

From a technical point of view, Müller-Licht Tint Talpa offers various white tones from 1,800 to 6,500 Kelvin as well as the familiar RGB colour space with 16 million colours. It is not yet known when the good piece will be available – however, pre-orders are already possible. Usually, this is a good sign that it won't take too long.
