Philips Hue has not launched any new light strips this year. My favourite remains the Philips Hue Ambiance Gradient Lightstrip, which can display several colours and has quite small distances between the individual LEDs. However, at a price of well over 100 euros, the two metre long light strip is not particularly cheap.
A few weeks ago, you could buy the Tint Khaya by Müller-Licht at a special price at Aldi, but now the outdoor floor lamp can also be ordered regularly at Amazon. Reason enough to take another closer look at the model. The dimensions of the outdoor floor lamp, which has an IP44 protection class, are certainly impressive.
The smart brand Tint from Müller-Licht should be well known to you by now. Besides the new outdoor products, a new E27 globe lamp with up to 1,520 lumens brightness will be launched in the coming weeks. We have already had a closer look at the bulb, which will be available in stores for 34.95 euros.
You may have already bought the Tint Flores outdoor spots from Aldi at the beginning of the month, at least if you are living in Germany. In the meantime I have received my test sample from the manufacturer and I can also tell you that the online distribution is on its way.
When Philips Hue launched its filament lamps last autumn, I was very impressed. Later, I realized that the fixed colour temperature of 2,100 Kelvin is not optimal for all purposes. In our open living, dining and cooking area, the warm white light above the dining table simply didn't match the cooler light in the kitchen.
The Philips Hue Play Lightbar has become a real bestseller since its launch about a year and a half ago. Müller-Licht seems to be about to launch a very similar product with its ZigBee brand Tint. The Talpa LED luminaire can already be pre-ordered at Amazon for 79.95 euros.
