I’m always amazed at my blog readers’ creativity. Christoph has now sent me a pretty exciting project, which of course I don’t want to withhold from you. He has installed the Hue Smart Button in a regular push button from Gira. The Philips Hue dimmer switch has become a real bestseller over the past years. Small wonder: despite a recommended retail price of 24.95 euros it was always available for less than 20 euros and thus a really good deal in the otherwise price-intensive Hue cosmos. Now there is another alternative with the Philips Hue Smart Button.

This was quicker than I thought: Amazon was not supposed to deliver the Hue Smart Button until November, but now it happened very quickly. And I have learned from Signify sources: Amazon, after all an exclusive sales partner for the start, will also apply the correct price of 19.99 Euro for the Hue Smart Button soon.

Yesterday, I already forwarded some information about the Philips Hue Smart Button. Nevertheless, I didn’t miss the opportunity to pay a visit to the colleagues from Signify, who invited us to a hotel suite away from the IFA. The result is the following small video of the new Philips Hue Smart Button which will be on sale for 19.99 Euro during October.
