A perfect team: classic table lamps and the new Hue White Filament

The new Philips Hue White Filament lamps provides new possibilities.

If you want to use individual Philips Hue LED bulbs, up to now they were best hidden behind a lampshade or other cover. Let's be honest: the usual Philips Hue bulbs are not really stylish.

This has changed with the Philips Hue White Filament lamps that were released last week. Available in three different versions, the vintage bulb looks really great – and easily shakes off the smart competition from Osram, Ikea or Innr.

The new lamps can be ordered at Click-Licht.de, for example, where prices have fallen recently. The standard filament lamp is available for 18.86 euros, the Edison version costs 23.68 euros and the large globe bulb is already reduced to 26.33 euros.

Practically speaking, Click-Licht.de also offers the matching ceiling lamps, floor lamps and table lamps. I simply ordered three different models and would like to show you how well the filament lamps from Philips Hue work.

Table lamp Lorin

Like a small street lamp, this curved steel arm with its base is made of marble. At a height of 35 centimetres, the Lorin table lamp weighs 1.25 kilograms – a real chunk, but a safe stand is guaranteed.

Table lamp Kyara

This model follows a completely different concept. Available in three colours, I just tried chrome but would probably tend to black afterwards. You just place this table lamp sideways on your desk or any other surface.

Table lamp Arthur

My personal favourite is this series – because this cube set up looks fantastic in combination with a Philips Hue White Filament. Check out the other versions too. I need to have a serious discussion with my wife about the purchase of the three-lamp floor lamp.
