Here in the blog I love to talk about Philips Hue, of course, but there are some lighting ideas that are difficult to realize with ZigBee. The LED panels from Nanoleaf, which have been with me for several years now, are definitely one of them. Starting with the Nanoleaf Aurora, which is now called Nanoleaf Light Panels, to the square Nanoleaf Canvas and the Nanoleaf Shapes Hexagons, which were launched in summer 2020.
We pre-ordered them a few months ago, they arrived in July and could not be installed at first: The controller of our new Nanoleaf Shapes was broken. In the end, the replacement of the defective part via the Nanoleaf support went without any problems and with a little delay we could finally try the Hexagons.
At the end of April we informed you that the new light modules Nanoleaf Shapes Hexagon can be pre-ordered. And now there is good news for all pre-orderers: The Nanoleaf Shapes Hexagon have been shipped and should arrive in the next few days. While the first shipment is out of stock and was a bit cheaper at 179,99 Euro, you can now order the Starter Set for 199,99 Euro.
