At the end of April we informed you that the new light modules Nanoleaf Shapes Hexagon can be pre-ordered. And now there is good news for all pre-orderers: The Nanoleaf Shapes Hexagon have been shipped and should arrive in the next few days.
While the first shipment is out of stock and was a bit cheaper at 179,99 Euro, you can now order the Starter Set for 199,99 Euro. But if you only now place your order, you still have to be patient. There is no exact date for the next delivery.
We will also take a closer look at the Nanoleaf Shapes Hexagon, our order will arrive today according to tracking. First of all the most important details:
The new hexagons are part of the “Unified Light Panel” line. The six sides of the hexagons offer an even larger playing surface to create your own favorite designs – there are no limits to your creativity thanks to the new coupling function of different panel shapes. In addition, the complete Unified Light Panel series becomes interoperable, which also allows the coupling of different panel shapes. Further shapes of the new product line will be released until 2021.
Once mounted on the wall, the shape of the LED panels is automatically transferred to the Nanoleaf app. There, each individual LED module can be filled with a color of your choice; scenes and animations are also available. On request, the Nanoleaf hexagons can also be visualized to match music or the content of a computer screen.
Joint control with the Philips Hue system is also possible. The hexagons will be compatible with Amazon Alexa, Apple Home and Google Assistant. These systems can be used to create shared scenes to switch Nanoleaf and Philips Hue on and off together. An additional bridge is not required with Nanoleaf, the control module is simply latched on the edge.
