New firmware update for the Hue Bridge released

The Philips Hue Bridge is the centrepiece of the system and is updated with new software at regular intervals. The new firmware version 1964061010 has been available to install for a few days now; the previous number was 1963171020. The update includes the following new features:

  • Resolved an issue where, in rare cases, specific non-Hue lights would fail to connect to the Bridge
  • Updated time zones and Daylight Saving Time settings
  • Improved performance and reliability of the system

  1. Go to hue app

    Go to settings

    Click on my hue system

    Click the i button

    That will tell you software version

    Go back to settings menu and scroll down to software update

    There you can view and change software update settings

  2. Have issues connecting to google after unlinking and trying to reconnect. It keeps saying something went wrong. Tried EVERYTHING. Nothing helps. If I connect to IFFT is works in seconds….
