I could tell you stories now that would make you lose your faith. But now I’m not quite sure how serious Philips Hue is about keeping its new products secret. After all, they have just put some of the new products online in their own American shop.
To be more precise, it’s about the new generation of lamps that are supposed to offer a brightness of up to 1,100 lumens, which is almost 40 per cent brighter than the previous Hue lamps with a brightness of 806 lumens.
What is particularly interesting is that the 1,100 lumen bulbs will not completely replace the previous 800 lumen LEDs, but together with the 1,600 lumen bulbs will represent a new alternative. The price is somewhat higher, at least according to entries on the American Amazon. A double pack of the coloured 1,100 lumen lamps costs about 10 US dollars more.
The products cannot yet be ordered in the USA, but at least they give us a glimpse of the new packaging. Here is a little preview for you of what we can expect soon.

Anything to say if there will be B22 versions of these bulbs for other countries?
