Yesterday I already presented the new dimmer switch and a new outdoor lamp. With the latter, there are still some details to be clarified, so I have taken the article offline for the time being. But today I have the next new Philips Hue product for you: a new version of the Appear Outdoor wall lamp.
Today, I can share another glimpse of a new product with you: Philips Hue will update its popular and well-known dimmer switch in the near future. We have known it in its current form for some years now. The new version will look a lot more modern, but will offer the same functions.
Some time ago it was already on the net, now I can announce that it has arrived. The Innr RCL 110 is now in stock at Amazon and can be ordered for 64.99 euros.RCL stands for Round Ceiling Light, so it should be clear what it's all about. In this ceiling light, the bulb is permanently integrated and cannot be replaced.

As you may have seen in the leaflet of your supermarket, Lidl is now selling smart lighting products. Thanks to the ZigBee wireless standard, these should also be able to be connected to the Hue Bridge without any problems, but especially with one of the most interesting products this does not seem to work: The USB power strip from Silvercrest did not want to couple with my Philips Hue Bridge despite all efforts.

I already announced it last week, now I can show you the result: Since yesterday the Philips Hue Flourish is floating above my dining table. Today I would like to share with you my first experiences around the installation and of course the first impression after the installation. But first let's have a look at the previous state.
Philips Hue introduced a limited edition of its mood light Iris in early September. So far I have only been able to show you the silver Limited Edition, apart from the new, slightly revised Iris in black and white. That is exactly what I would like to change today.
Just two months ago, Philips Hue unveiled its smallest lamp to date: The Hue E14 Luster. The teardrop-shaped bulb is perfect for compact table lamps that are often found on desks or bedside tables. But it is precisely here that the new release reveals its biggest weakness: as a Hue White model, it offers only a fixed colour temperature.
For some time now, Innr has had a set of recessed spot lights in its portfolio. Equipped with an LED driver and a ZigBee controller, up to five extra flat recessed spotlights could be installed, which were equipped with a white LED. The RSL 110 model is now retiring, it is replaced by the Innr RSL 115.

Here in the blog I love to talk about Philips Hue, of course, but there are some lighting ideas that are difficult to realize with ZigBee.
