This story had already been announced, and now the improved version of the Hue Flourish table lamp is available in the official Philips Hue online store for a hefty €149.99 in Europe. You can easily recognize the new generation by the large Hue logo and the four symbols for Matter, Apple Home, Google Home, and Samsung Smartthings.
Philips Hue has not changed the familiar design of the Hue Flourish, but has simply equipped the table lamp with a new 2025 generation light bulb. For you, this means that the maximum brightness increases, power consumption decreases, and a direct connection to other smart home platforms is possible via Matter over Thread. Of course, the new Hue Flourish can still be paired directly with your smartphone via Bluetooth or with the Hue Bridge via Zigbee.
Hue Flourish table lamp now has 1,100 lumens instead of 806
The difference in brightness should actually be visible to the naked eye. The old-generation bulb had a maximum of 806 lumens at 4,000 Kelvin, while the new model has 1,100 lumens. That’s an increase of a good 36 percent.
As always, the price is debatable. The integrated E27 bulb costs €64.99 from Philips Hue. So, the handmade glass shade with its frosted glass look and fine grooves will set you back over €80. That’s quite a lot. Unfortunately, there wasn’t enough money left over for a nylon-braided power cable in the update.
And, of course, there are cheaper options. One popular model is the Fado table lamp from Ikea, which can easily be made smart with an E27 bulb from Philips Hue. However, the final visual result is, at least to my taste, significantly simpler.

Does it have a physical switch?
I don’t think so.
