The somewhat strange events surrounding Philips Hue are entering the next round. After it was noticed yesterday that Philips Hue had removed the Apple Home announcement from January from its website, there is now another “interesting” change. In the eurozone, the price of the Hue Bridge Pro has been increased to €99.99.
This affects not only Germany, but also all other countries that use the euro. Here, the Hue Bridge Pro now costs €10 more than when it was launched in September at €89.99.
Unfortunately, I don’t have the exact prices for countries such as Denmark or the UK in my head. If you notice a price difference here, please feel free to write in the comments. In the US, the price of the Hue Bridge Pro remains unchanged; it has cost slightly more here since its launch ($98.99).
So far, this appears to be the only price increase
I immediately searched through the Philips Hue online store and couldn’t find any other price changes among the numerous other new releases from September.
However, I have heard through the grapevine that prices may still rise over the course of the year. Allegedly due to increased prices for chips and memory. However, I don’t have any concrete details on this yet.

It is currently £79.99 in the official UK store. (Non pro is £49.99)
Thats correct, question is what was the price at launch? Also 79.99? I don’t remember.
Yes was £79.99 in Sept in the UK at launch based on my order confirmation.
