We still have to be patient, but from 14 September, the new Ambiance Gradient Lightstrip and the Gradient Signe will officially go on sale. The Gradient Light Tube will follow at the end of October. With the Play Gradient Lightstrip, a product with a colour gradient has already been available for some time.
Shortly after the introduction of the Philips Hue Filament bulbs, I had to listen to my wife saying: “The light is far too yellow.” No wonder, because the classic lamps were previously only available as Philips Hue White with a fixed colour temperature of 2,100 Kelvin. That’s pretty warm light. This week, Philips Hue officially expanded its product portfolio and now offers all five models of the Filament lamp as White Ambiance.
In the past, there were already ways to make your own Hue lamps light up to music – in different colours and brightnesses. Until then, such disco functions usually required access to the smartphone microphone. A solution that is not necessarily optimal. As of today, Philips Hue offers a deep integration of Spotify.
Finally the cat is out of the bag. After many Philips Hue products have already appeared on the web in the past weeks and months, the manufacturer from the Netherlands has today presented its new portfolio for autumn 2021. In addition to the already known Gradient products and light sources, numerous new ceiling lights are also included.
Already with the launch of the new Philips Hue app, Signify has announced to deliver an exciting new feature this summer: Dynamic Scenes. After I already gave you the first key data around the new feature quite a while ago, there is now news. As I was told by several readers, the dynamic scenes are probably about to be launched and are to be officially introduced with the update to version 4.4 of the Hue app.
Next week it’s finally that time again: Philips Hue will present new products. And what we already know from various leaks is more than promising: brighter bulbs, some gradient products, filament lamps with White Ambiance technology or E14 bases and, in all likelihood, a batch of new ceiling lights. Conversely, this also means that some Hue installations will grow in the coming weeks.
A little patience is still needed until Philips Hue officially presents its new products on 1st September. I have already given you a small preview of some of the new products this week. More products are still expected, although some of them will only be available in October. Of course, the launch of the Gradient products is particularly exciting.
According to my information, it will be possible to buy numerous new Philips Hue products from September 1st. In the past few weeks, numerous products have already been leaked and it is already clear that a real spectacle will be set off.
