Smart filament lamps are now available from numerous manufacturers. My current favourites are the White Ambiance filament lamps from Müller-Licht which will probably make it into the shops this month. Their release date is scheduled for March 24th.

First look at Tint Retro lamps from Müller-Licht
When Philips Hue launched its filament lamps last autumn, I was very impressed. Later, I realized that the fixed colour temperature of 2,100 Kelvin is not optimal for all purposes. In our open living, dining and cooking area, the warm white light above the dining table simply didn’t match the cooler light in the kitchen.
Not yet officially landed in Germany and not yet listed on the German Philips Hue website, but already available thanks to some Scandinavian dealers: we are talking about two wall lamps from the Adore bathroom series by Philips Hue. In terms of design, both remind of classic fluorescent tubes.
I face a problem on my terrace: the wall connection for the permanently installed lamp is located in one of the two corners. Not surprisingly the other half of the terrace is poorly illuminated. Now I have tackled this problem – with the new Philips Hue Impress low-voltage wall light and in cooperation with Lampenwelt.de,
Announced at the beginning of January and also available in stores since last week: the outdoor spot Philips Hue Lily XL. In cooperation with the official Hue dealer Click-Licht.de, I can present the new outdoor lamp to you in detail today – including a 15-minute video in which I compare the new Hue Lily XL with the small Hue Lily and a Hue GU10 spot.
Last fall, Philips Hue launched a much improved version of its colored GU10 spot – which is currently affected by problems. Many users report beeping lamps when switched off, i.e. at 0 percent brightness. The good news first: this problem does not occur with the Innr color spots released in October 2019.

For me, the Philips Hue Daylo is the biggest surprise from the 2020 outdoor series by Philips Hue. At first glance, the circular 22-cm high wall light looks rather inconspicuous, but small details convince after installation. I was able to see this for myself yesterday on my neighbours’ terrace. The Philips Hue Daylo is a wall lamp available in two different variations.
Starting this week, Philips’ new outdoor products can be ordered. I have already taken a closer look at the new Philips Hue Resonate and have also mounted it on my house wall. I would now like to use this article to share my experiences with the new light source with you.
