Yesterday I already briefly addressed the topic of Christmas lighting with the DIY project of Hueblog reader Marius, now I would like to intensify it once again. The question of the questions is: Why is there actually no Christmas lighting from Philips Hue? I will certainly not be able to provide you with the answer to this question, because it is hidden in the heads of probably important managers in Eindhoven, where Signify is based.
Hueblog reader Marius sent me some photos of his latest DIY project over the weekend and I was definitely impressed. Today I would like to present you his LED Christmas tree and get your creative vein going a little bit. Until Christmas Eve there is still a little time to be creative yourself.

As you may have seen in the leaflet of your supermarket, Lidl is now selling smart lighting products. Thanks to the ZigBee wireless standard, these should also be able to be connected to the Hue Bridge without any problems, but especially with one of the most interesting products this does not seem to work: The USB power strip from Silvercrest did not want to couple with my Philips Hue Bridge despite all efforts.
