Hueblog: Philips Hue app not available on Google Play Store

Philips Hue app not available on Google Play Store

Currently no download possible

A small warning to Android users: The Philips Hue app is currently not available in the Google Play Store. So if you want to reinstall the app, you currently have bad cards – the previous download link leads to an error message.

I’ve already knocked on Signify’s door to find out why the app is currently unavailable. I can only imagine that it is a critical bug – and they now want to prevent the faulty version from spreading even further. The Philips Hue app is still available for download in the Apple App Store.

As soon as I have new information and a response from Hamburg or Eindhoven, I will contact you again here. Should you discover the Hue app again in the Google Play Store, I would be happy to receive a comment.

Check your local Philips Hue Online Store for availability of Hue products in your country. There you will also find all the technical information and prices.
