Small opening on the power supply available

Today, the Philips Hue Perifo track system is officially launched. In the official Philips Hue online shop, numerous bundles are already listed, but you can’t order the Perifo sets and individual parts yet. Other retailers, such as Click-Licht.de, promise availability only in about four weeks. However, I did discover one interesting detail: The ceiling power supply of the Perifo track system has a small cap on the side that can be easily removed if you want to disconnect the power supply “externally”.

In normal everyday life, this is not a problem, whereby the emphasis here is clearly on the day.

Works with multi-display setups

When it was announced at the beginning of August that Philips Hue would probably offer its Play Gradient Lightstrip for PC monitors with 24 to 27 inches, the outcry was great. Lightguide, Lightstrip and much more

The secrecy at Philips Hue has once again worked extremely badly this half-year. Three new products have already been distributed on the internet before they were publicly announced. However, Apple users in particular have to pay attention to one detail. To share a scene, first activate it and then tap on the three small dots next to the scene icon.

As if someone were at home...

This function has been included in Hue Labs for some time now, and will soon also be found in the automations of the Hue app: Mimic Presence. The presence simulation is supposed to increase the security of your home when you are not at home. In any case, security is a topic that Philips Hue will probably deal with even more intensively this year.
