FabianPhilips Hue has announced an “Ask Me Anything” session with George Yianni on Reddit. The Hue inventor will answer questions from the community on Thursday from 5:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. German time (9 a.m. EST). You can find the official announcement on Reddit via this link.
“He’ll answer our questions and share exclusive information about the latest Hue products. If you’ve always wanted to know something about Hue, now’s your chance,” the announcement states.
This also makes it clear that Philips Hue will stick to the schedule it’s followed in recent years: a media event on Wednesday evening is followed by the release of new products on Thursday. In recent years, this has always happened at 9:30 a.m. German time—I wouldn’t be surprised if it happens the same way in 2026.

The list of products that Philips Hue is expected to unveil this coming Thursday has certainly grown longer and longer. The highlight will surely be the Nanoleaf integration with the new Wall Light Module, but I’m also really excited about products like the Hue Screen Sync TV camera, the new TV light strips, and the new models in the Festavia series. And who knows—maybe Philips Hue still has a surprise or two up its sleeve.
