FabianIt could have been so great this month at Philips Hue: lots of new products, plus a “Glow-Up Sale” in their online store. But some things just weren’t made a big deal of. Like a secret price hike on many products that hit the market in 2025. The Hue Bridge Pro in Europe is particularly affected.
After the price in the Eurozone was already raised in March—at the time still relatively modestly—from 89.99 euros to 99.99 euros, here comes the big shock: The Hue Bridge Pro now costs 149.99 euros in Germany and virtually all other European countries. Yes, you read that right. Compared to its launch a year ago, that’s a price increase of 66 percent.
If you haven’t bought the Hue Bridge Pro yet, you should take advantage of this opportunity quickly. Some features, such as the announced “Backup & Restore” function, won’t be available for the old white Bridge. The Hue Bridge Pro is still available at a fairly low price in stores—for example, on Amazon in Germany for 72.99 euros. The increase in the manufacturer’s suggested retail price hasn’t been reflected there yet.
Many other Hue products from 2025 are also affected
The Hue Bridge Pro has been hit hard—it’s suddenly 50 euros more expensive. Many other products that Philips Hue launched in September 2025 are also affected by the current price increase. At least it’s not quite as drastic—we’re talking about increases of 10 to 20 euros.
For example, the popular 4-packs of Hue Essential lamps and spots have been affected; they will now cost 69.99 euros instead of the previous 59.99 euros. Prices have also gone up for the Hue Flux light strips for indoor and outdoor use, as well as for the three-meter-long Hue OmniGlow light strip.
