Last year, I already drew attention to a problem for which Philips Hue has no solution and will not offer one. Those who want to extend an old Philips Hue Lightstrip Plus no longer have a chance. With the fourth generation of the light strip, Philips Hue has adjusted the size of the six pins.

I have been using the new Philips Hue wall switch module for a week now, and some of you have already received your orders from last week. It is not a big surprise, because already in February I could provide you with the relevant information. Now, however, we can report a full train: The “T-connector for Low Volt” as well as the “Outdoor cable extension 2.5 m” can now also be ordered individually at a price of 11.49 euros each in the online store of Philips Hue.
It was announced in mid-January, now the time has finally come: The new Philips Hue wall switch module can finally be ordered in Europe. At the start, it will be offered exclusively in the Philips Hue online shop for three months, after which other retailers will also be able to start selling it.
The Philips Hue Wall Switch Module will be released shortly and of course I will provide you with some first impressions just in time for the launch. In addition, this morning I have selected three readers who may also test the module for us. Nothing is official yet, but it should probably start soon.
