Following the launch of MotionAware and the announcement of SpatialAware, Philips Hue is now moving forward with its next new product. The Dutch company announced the new PartyAware series today. Two new products will be available at launch in the summer of 2026. Just like MotionAware and SpatialAware, you’ll need the new Hue Bridge Pro for these as well—because they’re about much more than just light.
The highlight is undoubtedly the new Philips Hue PartyAware Floor Tiles, which might even give Nanoleaf a run for its money. The tiles, measuring approximately 30 x 30 centimeters, connect to each other in a modular fashion and are available in various starter sets and expansion packs. They are suitable for outdoor use but cannot be connected to the existing low-voltage system.
The Hue PartyAware Floor Tiles react to music and movement. Not only can they glow in different colors, but sensors also detect when someone steps on them. I’m already very curious to see if apps like iConnectHue will allow you to control other Hue lights as well.
The first Hue light strip for your smartphone
For the ultimate party with the new Hue PartyAware, Signify is introducing the new Phone Strip. Similar projects have already been on Kickstarter, though without direct Hue connectivity. With the new mini light strip, which is integrated into a special protective case, things are really starting to light up. The PartyAware Phone Strip can also synchronize the lights to the music, so your smartphone becomes part of the party.
“From living rooms to backyards, PartyAware is built for the moments that matter most: being together, letting go, and creating something unforgettable”, says Philips Hue. Two pretty crazy products that I hope to check out for myself in the coming weeks.

April fools!
