Philips Hue introduced a limited edition of its mood light Iris in early September. So far I have only been able to show you the silver Limited Edition, apart from the new, slightly revised Iris in black and white. That is exactly what I would like to change today.
After pre-orders were already possible in the past weeks, another new Hue product has been launched this week: The Philips Hue Iris including the Limited Edition. Limited is definitely the right keyword here, because the four special colours are currently anything but easy to get. Anyway, the limited special edition of the mood light is only sold at selected retailers.
After the Hue Go was updated last year and the second generation provides numerous improvements, this spring it was the turn of the Hue Bloom. And the third mood light in the bunch will soon be available in a new generation, even in a limited edition. We are of course talking about the Hue Iris, which was presented just last week.
This week Signify introduced a new generation of Philips Hue Iris. The mood light is a true icon and was introduced almost 10 years ago as the LivingColors model, almost as long ago the Iris is also available as a Hue model. Unfortunately, the Hue Iris was in the shadow of the Hue Go for quite a long time, which has found many fans in recent years.
Already in August I could report that Philips Hue is planning a new edition of the Iris. Mood lighting is one of the real long-running favourites and was already a LivingColors product almost 10 years ago, and has been part of the Hue family for several years. With the update announced today, there is not only improved performance, but also new designs.
Philips Hue already presented new products in January and June. A few weeks ago I was able to tell you that this was probably not all. Now I can present you the new products that Signify will introduce this autumn. I expect them to launch in September.
