FabianPhilips Hue already presented new products in January and June. A few weeks ago I was able to tell you that this was probably not all. Now I can present you the new products that Signify will introduce this autumn. I expect them to launch in September.
E14 lamp in new drop shape
It all starts with the Philips Hue White E14 “Luster”, an bulb in drop form. Initially only available in the White version with a fixed colour temperature of probably 2,700 Kelvin, the lamp can be dimmed as usual. The maximum brightness will be 470 lumens, which is exactly the same as with the E14 lamps in candle form we already know some years.

And they too will receive an update, albeit a small one. Up to now, the E14 candle lamp was only available in the White version with ZigBee and Bluetooth, but now the White Ambiance version will also get additional Bluetooth. I assume that the White and Color Ambiance will also be updated accordingly.
Especially large filament lamps
There will also be more choice from September onwards at the filament lamps with E27 bases, where two new products are going to be launched: a Giant Globe with a diameter of 12.5 centimetres and a Giant Edison with a diameter of 7.2 centimetres. The LED technology inside is identical to the filament lamps available up to now, which means we can expect a colour temperature of 2,100 Kelvin with a maximum brightness of 550 lumens.
Philips Hue Iris with more brightness
On Friday I already looked into the crystal ball and predicted this new release: The Philips Hue Iris will be updated. From autumn on the nice looking table lamp will be available in white and black with improved technology. The Iris will become “White and Color Ambiance” and can reproduce 16 million colors as well as different shades of white. 570 lumens are thus possible. Of course, it will also be possible to control the lamp via Bluetooth, which will suit beginners.

The new products are rounded off by a further variant of the popular Hue Ensis pendant luminaire. In addition to the white version known up to now, a black version will soon be available.
