Yesterday, Signify introduced several new outdoor products at CES in Las Vegas. There are some very interesting new releases such as the Appear and Resonate wall lights with their up- and downward beams. But also the popular “plug-and-play” portfolio has been expanded by two low-voltage lights: Lily XL and the Impress wall light.
Yesterday evening Philips Hue presented its outdoor series for 2020. And I have to say: there is definitely something in it that pleases. Surely it always depends on personal taste but I like the new Lily XL and the Impress wall lamp with cable. And that’s exactly the right keyword.

Philips Hue has taken a step in the right direction with the new GU10 spots which were launched in late summer. The new models are brighter, provide better colour rendition and have also been shrunk to a perfect size so that they fit easily into spot lights from other manufacturers. However, there seems to be another innovation besides Richer Colors & Perfect Fit: An extremely annoying whining.
