FabianToday I have a little tip for you from the Apple App Store, because you can currently get the Hue Party for Philips Hue app for free. To be more precise, the download itself is free anyway, but you can currently unlock the full version within the app for free.
Why and why? I can’t really tell you exactly. Normally, the Pro version costs 5.99 euros per month or 44.99 euros per year, which are of course absolutely exorbitant prices. Now the in-app run for the lifetime license is free, so you can grab it and try out Hue Party for yourself.

Unfortunately, the free promotion is now over and the purchase of the full version costs over 50 euros again.
Hue Party offers several ready-made scenes that can act rhythmically to the music being played. You can freely adjust the colors of the lighting effects as well as the brightness or speed of the light changes.
What’s really interesting is that Hue Party can be used to control not only Philips Hue lamps, but also LIFX products and HomeKit devices, although the latter have some limitations.
The best way to find out how well Hue Party works and whether the app is right for you is to try it out for yourself – after all, the Pro version is currently free. Unfortunately, I don’t know how long the offer will last.
