After several months of work, Stefan Göhler releases version 4.11 of his popular iConnectHue application (App Store link) for iPhone and iPad this afternoon. Included are 700 individual changes and, of course, numerous new functions. The update is worthwhile especially for users with many rooms, zones and perhaps even several bridges.
I have already mentioned it several times in the past: Many of you miss the widgets. With the launch of the new Philips Hue app they were banned from iPhone and iPad, as an alternative you are supposed to use Siri shortcuts. For many Hue fans, this is not a satisfying alternative.

The app for iPhone and iPad is one of the best tools when it comes to configuring the Hue system. And of course it offers more possibilities around the new wall switch module than the regular Philips Hue app does.
With today's update of iConnectHue (App Store Link) to version 4.2 there are exciting news. The team around the developer Stefan Göhler has integrated a weekend mode, which gives you even more possibilities to configure switches, motion sensors and geofencing. In this way, a switch or motion sensor can operate differently on weekdays than on weekends.
