Today is Sunday, which means it’s time for my little weekly review. However, since things were a little quiet around Christmas, there isn’t really any news that we can revisit here. Instead, I’d like to take a look at what we can hopefully expect in early 2026. Now that the new Hue Flux light strips have been on the market for a few weeks and are already being sold at really good prices, for example in Europe in the Christmas sale, we can expect additional accessories in the coming months.

The new Hue Flux Lightstrip has been available since mid-September and performed very well in my initial hands-on. The ultra-bright version of the Hue Flux Lightstrip is set to launch shortly. It has a maximum brightness of 6,000 lumens. It can produce almost 1,000 lumens per meter. No Philips Hue light strip has ever been this bright.

However, at least two of the five announced lengths have now been released much sooner than planned—they are already available for purchase in Europe.
