In the USA, the new Hue OmniGlow Lightstrip is already available in one of three different lengths, and it is set to launch here in Europe in November. The new light strip is intended to replace the previous premium product, the Hue Ambiance Gradient Lightstrip. But how exactly do the two light strips differ from each other?
Alongside the Hue Secure Video Doorbell, the Hue Secure Smart Chime is now also available. A digital door chime priced at €59.99 (shop link), which of course makes an ideal companion for the doorbell itself. I’d almost go as far as saying it’s essential, since the classic door chime in your home gets deactivated when installing the Hue Secure Video Doorbell.
And on we go with the new Hue products. The Hue Secure Video Doorbell is now available in both Europe and the US. I recommend purchasing it as a bundle with the Hue Secure Chime, the digital door chime from Philips Hue. This bundle is now available in the Philips Hue online store.
In October, Philips Hue will not only launch its first video doorbell, but also deliver an improved version of the Hue Secure camera for the first time in two years. While the design remains unchanged, the resolution has been tweaked. Until now, all Hue Secure cameras have unfortunately only offered a resolution of 1080p.
