Sometimes I have really weird ideas. This weekend, I ordered a first generation Philips Hue starter set. More than seven years old, equipped with the first generation bridge. There are also three colourful lamps, which can only display some colours poorly. With a maximum of 600 lumens they are about 25 percent darker than their successors.
Update on April 29th: The new hexagons can now be pre-ordered via the Nanoleaf website. Nine panels including controller and power supply cost 179.99 euros. I have been fascinated by the smart lighting products from Nanoleaf for several years now. After triangles and squares, the next step is now being taken: Hexagons are in the starting blocks.
A few weeks ago, I presented the Twinkly Festoon Lights to you. We already had a lot of fun with the smart lights last winter – now they serve as a smart garland with app control. They consist of 20 little bulbs with 16 million colors. And since there is no such thing from Philips Hue up to now, I’m just cheating on this garden installation.
