This week I have a small product innovation from Philips Hue for you, which may be of interest to one or two owners of a Hue Secure camera. The USB-C cable for powering Philips Hue smart home cameras, which was announced back in January, is now available.
The cable is available in black or white and costs 19.99 euros each. The contacts for connecting the Hue Secure camera can be found at one end of the three-meter-long cable, while the other end has a classic USB-C plug.
A power supply unit is not included. I was also unable to find any information on how much power the USB-C power supply should have in order to operate the Hue Secure camera without any problems. The supplied power supply unit can handle up to 24 watts, although I honestly can’t imagine that the camera needs that much power on a permanent basis.
In any case, if you want to set up your Hue Secure camera more flexibly at home, the new USB-C cable from Philips Hue now gives you one more option.

I beleive there is a problem with the Philips Hue accounts right now. If you unlink it from Google Home it can not be linked anymore!
