The developer Stefan Göhler has released an animation package for New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day, with which you can light up your Philips Hue lamps in a particularly impressive way.
iConnectHue 5.8.4 brings the free “New Year’s Greetings” package to the App Store with six individual animations, some of which are intended to convey fireworks and others New Year’s Eve mood. And the app is particularly environmentally friendly, as the fireworks by light do not cause any pollution or fine dust – they can even be reused.
Resourceful users can either set the animations to start at midnight using a one-off timer or save them to a switch, such as the Smart Button or a Tap Dial Switch, to trigger them. However, the animation upgrade or a membership is required for these extras.
The New Year’s animations in iConnectHue are a seasonal set that is available free of charge for a short time for all purchasers of the app. To be precise, until January 2. If you would like to use the animations beyond this date, you can do so via membership.

If you haven’t installed iConnectHue yet, then the turn of the year might be the perfect opportunity to download the €3.99 premium application.
