Following the launch of the more affordable table and floor lamps from the Play series, Philips Hue introduced three new additions to the Signe family in early September. The table and floor lamps in this series have been with us for several years now. Joining the lineup are a light pole that leans against the wall, a ceiling light, and a hanging light.
Apparently, they couldn’t quite agree on a name. On the packaging, this little gadget is called the “Philips Hue Wall Light Module,” while on Amazon it’s listed as the “Philips Hue Wall Light Controller.” And then there’s also the name “Hue x Nanoleaf Controller” floating around. I think the latter provides the most accurate description of the new product.
Philips Hue unveiled several new products in early September, and I’ll be introducing (almost) all of them to you over the coming weeks. We’ll start with the Hue Liane 360° Rope Light, which is available in three different versions in the Philips Hue online store: 3 meters, 3 meters with a weight, and 5 meters.
In June, Philips Hue launched several new products, including the new Hue Play floor lamp. Its design is clearly reminiscent of the Philips Hue Gradient Signe, which has been available for several years now. The price difference between the two floor lamps, however, is striking. I’d like to explain the differences to you—just as I did with the smaller table lamps.
It has been several years since Philips Hue introduced its brighter 1,100-lumen bulbs. Compared to the “old” 806-lumen bulbs, this is an increase of 36 percent, which is particularly noticeable with white light. The new Philips Hue bulbs are now even equipped with Matter over Thread – and are also built into the Philips Hue Flourish.
After a slight delay, Philips Hue has launched its new Neon Lightstrip for outdoor use. The 10-meter version is already available in Europe, and the 3- and 5-meter versions of the new Outdoor Lightstrip are also expected to be available shortly. Philips Hue unveiled seven new light strips at the beginning of the month, the first of which is now available in Europe. You can already buy the Hue Flux Lightstrip in lengths of 3, 4, 5, and 10 meters, but the six-meter version is not yet available. Nevertheless, the light strip has gotten off to an early start; it was actually supposed to be released in October.
When we moved into our small terraced house with a garden eight years ago, I naturally took care of the lighting in the garden right away. Calla, Lily, and Outdoor Lightstrip have always been part of it, and now Impress wall lights and the classic Hue Festavia string of lights are also on board.
