But today I have the next new Philips Hue product for you: a new version of the Appear Outdoor wall lamp.
Today, I can share another glimpse of a new product with you: Philips Hue will update its popular and well-known dimmer switch in the near future. We have known it in its current form for some years now. The new version will look a lot more modern, but will offer the same functions.
Some time ago it was already on the net, now I can announce that it has arrived. The Innr RCL 110 is now in stock at Amazon and can be ordered for 64.99 euros.RCL stands for Round Ceiling Light, so it should be clear what it’s all about. In this ceiling light, the bulb is permanently integrated and cannot be replaced.
Normally, converting a floor lamp is not particularly difficult: you unscrew the old bulbs and insert Philips Hue lamps. This is done within a few seconds and works perfectly. But what if you cannot simply remove the bulbs from the floor lamp, for example because they are permanently installed or have a certain form factor?
Voice control with Siri has become even better with the latest updates from Apple. From now on, as with Google Assistant, multiple commands are possible with one voice command. For a short time now, several commands can simply be combined with an “and”. So you can say, for example: Hey Siri, switch on the light in the living room and in the kitchen.
In the meanwhile, there are numerous manufacturers and suppliers who, thanks to the ZigBee standard, bring lamps onto the market that can be coupled relatively easily with the Philips Hue Bridge. This is also the case with the smart lamps from Hornbach, which are marketed under the name Flair Viyu. In November, three new light bulbs came onto the market, including a filament bulb.
By now, the Philips Hue Play Gradient Lightstrip has been on the market for about two months and, in principle, you should already be well informed about the light strip. Hopefully soon there will be even more possibilities, after all, Philips Hue is looking for a way to make the Gradient Lightstrip shine in multiple colors via the Hue app.
