After the Hue Tap and the Hue dimmer switch, the Hue Smart Button enters the market. I will unbox it for you.

This was quicker than I thought: Amazon was not supposed to deliver the Hue Smart Button until November, but now it happened very quickly. And I have learned from Signify sources: Amazon, after all an exclusive sales partner for the start, will also apply the correct price of 19.99 Euro for the Hue Smart Button soon.

I want to show you the differences between three Hue Bridge compatible Smart Plugs in a new video.

We have known the Osram Smart Plug for years as an inexpensive accessory for the Philips Hue Bridge. The Innr SP 120 was added around a year ago. This smart plug mainly scores with its form factor. It is smaller and more compact but also adds a higher price tag. Since September, the Philips Hue Smart Plug has also been on the market.

The Philips Hue Play HDMI Sync Box is a popular topic at the moment. I’m also working intensively on this matter and I’m really impressed by the box’ actual idea – even though the price is more or less outrageous. But one thing is clear: the end of the line hasn’t been reached yet, Signify will provide the small box with numerous updates in the future.

Where does Philips Hue come from? I went to Eindhoven to look for clues.

I’m on holiday in the Netherlands until Monday. During this time I’m being wonderfully represented by my colleague Frederick. However, I have not been completely idle, as I also used my time in the Netherlands to visit the Philips Hue headquarters in Eindhoven on Friday. Since its introduction in mid-September, there’s been a lot of discussion about the Philips Hue Play HDMI Sync Box. Especially regarding its price, the discussion has heated up quite fast and quite a lot.
