FabianPhilips Hue has today released another update for its app, which is now available to download in version 5.4. This update focuses on small improvements to Hue Secure.
For example, you can now use two filters for events in the timeline. You can use a drop-down menu to filter the events by date or device. For example, all events that your contact sensor registered at the back door on Sunday.
Another new function is specifically aimed at the Hue Secure camera. If you receive a push notification after a detected movement, you can go directly to the corresponding clip in the timeline.
The update also officially adds support for the new wireless Hue Secure camera to the Philips Hue app. The battery-powered version of the camera will start shipping this week.
