Finally: table lamps for the Philips Hue Lightguide series

Three stylish designs

Back in January, I called for exactly that when I presented the new Philips MyCreation table lamps from the 3D printer: Small table lamps for the Philips Hue Lightguide series that are optimised for the rather chunky lamp base.

You could almost think that Philips Hue has been reading my blog in this case, because as part of the launch of two new and two “old” Lightguide models, they have also introduced small table lamps from the 3D printer that are perfect for the Lightguide series.

The new Philips Hue table lamp bases are available in two different shapes, each in three colours: sage, sand and black. The 3D-printed bases are made of recyclable materials and are also available in a bundle with Lightguide lights.

However, there is a small catch: unfortunately, the fun is not cheap. A base for the Hue Lightguide is said to cost 59.99 euros – plus the cost of a Lightguide, where you have to pay at least another 79.99 euros.

This table lamp was specially designed for Lightguide lamps. It was produced using a 3D printing process with a unique wavy texture and matt surface.

With its inner tube and reflective glass coating, Lightguide bulbs are a statement piece to match the modern home. This ellipse smart bulb gives you a glow of brilliantly colorful light, which you can dim to the perfect level.

  1. No news about potential Philips hue filament lamps with colours? This would be so nice to have. Or any news about this topic

    1. I talked to George Yianni about it a while ago and I don’t think they will do them anytime soon. They focus on Lightguide.

  2. Too bad, I would like to purchase some colored light sources for my outdoor lighting. Lightguide is quite expensive but very beautiful. Would they be bright enough as garden lighting?
