Hue Aurelle in black and Hue Surimu in round

After the rather small novelties in January, the next new products from Philips Hue will probably be available in June. Here, too, the market leader in smart lighting will apparently concentrate on model maintenance, at least that’s what the first products that I was able to find for you on the web suggest.

Specifically, it’s about the two LED panel lights that Philips Hue has had in its portfolio for some time. The Philips Hue Aurelle will soon be available with a black frame instead of a white one. So far, I can confirm this for the two large models of the White Ambiance ceiling light in the dimensions 60 x 60 centimetres and 120 x 30 centimetres. Both versions are supposed to cost 239.99 euros.

Two years ago, the Hue Aurelle was followed by the Hue Surimu, which uses White and Color Ambiance technology. Until now, the Surimu was only available as a “large” version, but now the two small 30-centimetre models will also follow. In concrete terms, this means: a square Surimu for 229.99 euros and a round Surimu for 239.99 euros – each with a white frame.

According to the information available to me, the sales launch is planned for 23 June 2023. By then, we will probably also receive official product photos, and the technical data should match those of the already available models. I wouldn’t be surprised if other new products are announced in June, as there have already been indications about the chandelier lamps.
