In the past few months I have been able to inform you in detail about the Philips Hue Wall Switch Module. Now there is good news for all users from the USA: The wall switch module is now also available in the United States. Philips Hue announced this in the spring.
In terms of technology and functions, the US version of the Wall Switch Module does not differ from what is already available in Europe. Only the scope of delivery differs in one small detail: Instead of a Wago clamp, wire nuts are found in the box. These are used to connect the existing power cables that led to the classic light switch.
You can see very well in the following video how the Wall Switch Module is installed. If you are unsure about the installation, ask a professional to help you.
Of course I have already taken a closer look at the Wall Switch Module, after all it was launched here in Germany in March. You can watch my impressions in the following video.
If you have any further questions before buying, take a look at my FAQ article. You can buy the wall switch module directly in the online shop of Philips Hue. A single module is available for 39.99 US dollars, the double pack costs 69.99 US dollars.
