When it was unveiled in September, Philips Hue announced that the new all-rounder would not be available in the US until March 2026. And now the time has finally come – even if not all variants are available yet.
We’ve been waiting a long time for this, but now the accessories for the Hue Flux light strip are finally available. We were particularly excited about the flexible connector, which can be used to bridge ‘dark’ sections with a length of 50 centimetres. But what if your installation requires significantly smaller or larger distances?

The long-awaited accessories for the Hue Flux light strip have finally been available for a few days now in Europe. You’ve been waiting especially for the corner connectors and flexible connectors. These are, of course, only compatible with the Hue Flux Lightstrip and the Hue Flux Ultra Bright. But what about the five-metre extension cable?
Hue Flux light strips have been available in Europe for quite some time, and they are set to launch in North America in March. However, we’ve had to wait for the matching accessories, which Philips Hue unveiled back in September at the major IFA event in Berlin. Now the time has finally come: the connectors and extensions are available in the Philips Hue online store and should also be available in stores soon.
Today is Sunday, which means it’s time for my little weekly review. However, since things were a little quiet around Christmas, there isn’t really any news that we can revisit here. Instead, I’d like to take a look at what we can hopefully expect in early 2026. Now that the new Hue Flux light strips have been on the market for a few weeks and are already being sold at really good prices, for example in Europe in the Christmas sale, we can expect additional accessories in the coming months.

What about accessories for the new light strips? Unfortunately, you’ll have to be patient a little longer. The accessories were originally supposed to be released in December, but that’s not going to happen.
Philips Hue launched a bunch of new light strips this fall – at least in Europe. One of them is the Hue Flux, which comes in two different versions. In addition to the “normal” Flux light strip in five different lengths from 3 to 10 meters, there is also the particularly bright Hue Flux Ultra Bright Lightstrip.
A quick glance at the calendar tells us that Black Friday isn’t actually until November 28. At Philips Hue, the Black Friday sale has already started today. Philips Hue is launching a whole range of new light strips this fall. The Hue Flux Lightstrip, its ultra-bright sibling, and the magnificent Hue Omniglow Lightstrip are already available. In December, two more light strips from the Hue Essential series will be added, which we still need to take a closer look at.
