FabianFirst, a quick note for my international readers: I wrote this blog mainly for the German-language Hueblog.de. In my little Sunday blog, I’d like to tell you today about everything else I do besides my work. At the end of the day, it’s much more than just a few texts. Maybe you’ll find it interesting too.
For example, I’m currently in the middle of the final planning phase for the Advent calendar on appgefahren.de. I’ve already found almost 20 partners, including Philips Hue. A few doors still need to be filled in the coming week. But the work is far from over. I usually spend the second half of November organizing the shipment of all the prizes to my home in Bochum. Because there’s one thing I’ve learned over the years: only raffle things you actually have.
But the Hueblog shouldn’t be neglected in December either. In addition to the Philips Hue door in the Advent calendar on appgefahren.de, there will also be a Christmas giveaway here on the Hueblog, I can already tell you that much.

What you can win hasn’t been decided yet. Maybe your products of the year? That brings me straight to my next idea: what do you think of a big survey about all the Hue innovations of the year? At the end, we could raffle off the gadgets that most of you voted for. But that’s probably more of a thing for early December.
