As part of the announcement of the new Philips Hue Play Wall Washer, the manufacturer of our favorite lighting system has also shared new information about the Hue AI Assistant. The new tool is already available in Belgium, Luxembourg, and the Netherlands. At the end of August, the AI Assistant will be rolled out globally – though still only in English.

“The assistant is capable of understanding context to bring AI-powered lighting to life,” says a press release from Philips Hue. “Users simply need to tell the assistant about their mood, preferred style, or a specific occasion, and it will recommend one of the available scenes or create a custom one upon request.”

But that’s not all — Philips Hue already has more features planned for the AI Assistant. By the end of the year, users will be able to access in-app support through the chatbot, as well as create automations and schedules with its help.

Check your local Philips Hue Online Store for availability of Hue products in your country. There you will also find all the technical information and prices.
