Philips Hue always offers seasonal scenes in the Hue light scene gallery that are only available for a limited period of time. Currently, for example, there are ten Christmas scenes from the “Winter holidays” category.
Philips Hue so far without Christmas
So far, it’s not very festive in the Philips Hue app, even though we’re three weeks away from December 24th. Fortunately, I saved the Christmas scenes for you last year.
You can simply select the scenes and save them in a room of your choice. If you have missed this and the Christmas scenes have already disappeared from the Hue light scene gallery (or not yet back), you can now download them from me:
- Snow sparkle (Download-Link)
- Under the tree (Download-Link)
- Nutcracker (Download-Link)
- Jolly (Download-Link)
- Golden star (Download-Link)
- Silent night (Download-Link)
- Color Burst (Download-Link)
- Crystalline (Download-Link)
- Rosy sparkle (Download-Link)
- Festive fun (Download-Link)
Simply click on the desired download link using a smartphone or tablet on which you have installed the Hue app. Your Hue app will open automatically and you can easily save the scene in a room of your choice.
This also works outside of the Christmas period. If you found one of the scenes particularly great, you can simply bring it back to your Hue lamps at another time of year.
My garden is already decorated with two Festavia
I have already decorated my garden for Christmas. An 8-meter-long Festavia of the second generation was still hanging on a bush in the garden anyway, and I recently hung a longer Festavia in the ever-growing plum tree.
My favorite scene for the garden is “Rosy Sparkle”, it just looks great somehow. From time to time I also make the two fairy lights sparkle golden with the help of an effect. What are your favorite scenes to use?
A first-generation Hue Festavia, which wasn’t officially suitable for outdoor use back then, died after just over a year in the fresh air. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find out exactly where the defect occurred. I can only rule out the power supply unit.

This was a helpful reminder to download one’s favorite scenes from this holidays set! Thank you
Oh my gosh, thank you!!! Why Hue does not keep these available all year baffles me. Links worked perfect!
Vielen Dank! I think one of the flaws of using the Festavia lights is that Hue is late to release the Holiday scenes. Maybe it’s a European preference, but in the US we are usually decorating by the end of November. l leaned to save all the scenes all year, even if it takes up needed space on the bridge.
Here we decorate it in some parts of the country in November too (Belgium)
Thank you very much for saving these as I have been looking everywhere for them!
Thanks for the overview. By just searching them in the gallery, they show up as well, without a need to download them.
You need to know the names though!
You sir, ROCK! I have been waiting for Hue to load up Christmas scenes. Thank you so much!
Put the scenes up already!! You keep the Halloween ones up into December. Seriously!
THANK YOU for providing this, I did not know Hue Labs was going away. Is there a place to download the other holidays and other scenes like “fireplace”?
Hue should rethink closing the special scenes, We pay the additional cost for color bulbs to set a mood. These scenes genuinely adds joy to the holidays and they are unique to other neighborhood decorations.
I don’t suppose anyone knows the colours for the old Winter Wonderland scene?
