FabianLast year it was just an April Fools’ joke, but it will most likely soon be a real product. We’re talking about the Hue Go XXL, for which an icon had already appeared in the Hue app a few weeks ago. Now, the massive lounge table has made multiple appearances in the video recording of Capital Markets Day 2026—right where the Hue Play Screen Sync camera was also visible.
Signify has since edited the video, and almost all relevant segments showing products that haven’t yet been officially unveiled have been cut out. The cover image for this article still made it online, though, and another small image can still be seen for a split second in the video.
Details on the Hue Go XXL Lounge Table
Following the April Fools’ Day prank, this is the first time we’re seeing additional product photos of the Hue Go XXL, which appears to be intended for use as an outdoor lounge table. Unlike its smaller counterpart, however, this lamp likely doesn’t have a built-in battery, as a power cord is clearly visible in the new images.
It remains to be seen whether this power cord will be connected to the low-voltage system and whether the Hue Go XXL features built-in LEDs. Alternatively, I could imagine—as with the Hue Flourish table lamp, for example—a 230-volt connection and a built-in E27 light bulb.
One thing is clear: the Hue Go XXL is going to be a massive piece of equipment. The illuminated lounge table is likely to be 35 to 45 centimeters tall. Based on the pictures, I’d estimate the diameter to be around 70 centimeters. The price? It’ll probably be steep. The most expensive Hue product right now—excluding bundles featuring the Hue Perifo track system or the Hue Sync Box—is currently the Hue Centris 4-pack ceiling spotlights for 489.99 euros.
And when will the Hue Go XXL hit the market? I’ve heard rumors that the launch was originally planned for spring but was then postponed. Hopefully, we’ll get new information in September when Philips Hue unveils new products.
Are we seeing two more new Hue products?
In a quickly edited video sequence featuring numerous familiar Hue products, I noticed two other lights besides the Hue Go XXL lounge table that I haven’t seen before.
First, a wall sconce with two rods. In the video, the color changes here—and given its premium look, I actually expect this to be a Hue product.
The second image shows a string light artfully suspended from the ceiling. Could this also be a candidate for the Hue ecosystem? We’ll have to wait and see…
