I found that a bit of a shame, because many users are wondering about the new software version, but Philips Hue has not provided any information so far.
However, the next software updates are already available, specifically for the Philips Hue Bridge and the Philips Hue app. Software version 1972076030 is now available for download for the lighting system’s control center. However, there are no real changes here; Philips Hue simply informs us: “We’ve made several small changes behind the scenes to make your Hue Bridge work even better.” ”

There is also an update in the App Store, where version 5.47 of the Philips Hue app is now available. This update does include a small new feature: if your lights are unavailable, you will now receive instructions in the settings on how to reconnect them. How exactly does this work?
When you open the new option in the settings for the unreachable light, you will first be asked to check the power supply. If everything is OK here, you can scan the QR code of the light bulb or luminaire to add it to the system again. All settings should be retained in this case.
There is still no sign of the Hue Secure innovations promised at the beginning of the year. Hue Secure cameras should be able to automatically detect smoke alarm alerts and report them via the Hue app. An automation feature should then also switch on the lights in red to improve visibility in smoke-filled rooms. When this previously announced feature will finally arrive remains to be seen.
