If you’ve taken a close look at your Philips Hue app in the last few days, you may have noticed a new version in the software updates section. All Philips Hue bulbs, lights, and light strips have been updated to version 1.122.8/20250213.
Unfortunately, the release notes from Philips Hue do not yet provide any specific details. The latest information there dates back to October 2024, when Philips Hue products received support for new effects.
Philips Hue has not yet disclosed what has changed with version 1.122.8/20250213. I therefore inquired on your behalf and have already received a response, which is not particularly noteworthy. The firmware update merely provides “bug fixes and stability improvements.” Therefore, there are no new features to be excited about.
If you have enabled automatic updates, the new version 1.122.8/20250213 should automatically be installed on your Philips Hue products. All you need to do is ensure that they have a stable power supply so that they can communicate with the Hue Bridge.
You are lazy for posting this. This blog /article is useless and you’ve wasted your time and everyone that read this. You’ve contributed nothing to society or yourself. Please, do better! Good luck!
Wtf. Nothing to share about an update no one probably even noticed? What a useless post.
Just a silly uneducated post
You have an update but I can’t tell what it is so I will write an article to waste everyone’s time!
Thank you for the update – even though nothing major, it’s good to know about it and be aware👍
Thanks for the update, even the bug fixes and performance updates! Better quality is as important as new features IMHO.
It’s be great to know what bugs have been fixed; anyone that is actually using hue products would be keen to know! Perhaps you could use your contacts to encourage Hue to make more detailed release notes. 🤔🤩
