FabianPhilips Hue released another update for its official app on Thursday. However, I can keep this brief: there are no major new features. “Various bug fixes and stability improvements,” says the update description for version 5.44.
Every now and then, new features do creep in, but so far I haven’t noticed anything. If you notice anything, feel free to send me a message or leave a comment.
The only thing that stands out is that Philips Hue not only mentions the current flash sale in the “Discover” section of the app, but also the launch of the new Hue AI assistant. However, this is currently still in soft launch and is only available in English in Belgium, Luxembourg, and the Netherlands. It cannot be used in any other countries at this time.
