FabianPhilips Hue released another update for its app on Tuesday; version 5.37.1 is now available for download. It includes a new function that makes Hue Secure just that little bit more convenient. Manual video recordings can now be created. There is a recording icon directly in the live view that can be used to start and stop a manual recording. The video can then be saved directly to your smartphone.
There is also a little more organization for installations with more than one Hue Bridge. If you don’t want to mix up your rooms and zones, you can now not only divide the Home area by Bridge, but also use the Bridge name as a subheading. This way you won’t get confused so quickly.
Also new: You can now swap the icons of the lights in a Bluetooth setup. However, this may only be of real interest to a few people.
